Dear Mrs, Kwon and Pastor Lee,
Thank you for your letter. I am thankful that you arrived home safely. It was good to see you again. When we see each other again, it seems as if we've never been apart. I remember with great joy my visit to your home and with the members of Hasanwoon Church.
I hope that Martha, Mark, Liam and I can travel to South Korea together some day. Thank you for the pictures. They'll be a reminder of your visit here. Liam and Martha are away this week with her sister and children for a time at the beah in New Jersey. I'm looking forward to their return on Saturday. Liam is going to help me with my yard work this summer. He'll also be going to Boy Scout Camp and is continuing his swimming lessons. He is a wonderful child and we have many good times together.
This coming year I have an assignment from the Hartford Association of our church. I am going to be visiting churches and bringing greetings from the wider church. We are hoping that more churches in the association will become more active in our ministry. I am preaching once this summer at East Woodstock which is in the north east corner of Connecticut. I have been there several time and enjoy being with them.
We are feeling sad at First Church because Mary Angela Davis is leaving us on August 5th. She has been a wonderful minister to all of us and has initiated many new programs. I hope Nick is happy in his new pastorate and that she will find a ministry for her self as they move to Ellsworth, Maine.
May God continue to bless you in your ministry, and I hope for good health for you and your family. Please give my love and greetings to the people of Hasanwoon Church.
With love, in Christ,
Edie
