Dear Pastor Lee and Kwon, Brother and sister in Christ!

Hugh and I send you greetings in this season of expectation and joy. We hope you are well and that your ministries continue to nourish your congregation and yourselves.

We are well, as are our children and grandchildren, and are looking forward to all being together for a week after Christmas at our home in Vermont. We hear there has been a lot of snow up there, so we will have fun being out doors with our skis and snowshoes.

Today we are at home in Connecticut. It is a bright sunny day, but very cold with strong winds. There was a snow storm last Thursday which left a foot on snow on the ground, and yesterday was a day of sleet and ice. We look very wintry here.

As we count our blessings we also are blessed with a warm home and sufficient food and we are ever mindful of those for whom these blessings are not a part of their lives.

And so as the birthday of the Prince of Peace comes closer, we pray for those who are hungry and thirsty and homeless, and think of ways to minister to them, as we have been taught by the Prince of Peace.

May the many blessings of Advent and Christmas become real in your lives and in the lives of your congregation. And let us all pray for the Peace of Christ to carry us through the year.

Merry Christmas and love to you, dear brother and sister, and Yoon- sung too!

Kate
