Dear Mrs. Kwon and Pastor Lee,

Forgive me for being so late in answering your letter. The summer went by so quickly. Thank you for the pictures of the construction of Sanwoon Church. What an exciting time for you and your congregation.

I hope the plans are going well and that you'll have a very special Easter celebration in your new building. I'm so thankful that I was able to visit you while you were still in your old church. What a wonderful time that was.

We had a good summer. Martha, Mark, Liam and I all went together on a mission trip to a small town in New York state where we worked to help rehab people's homes. It was Liam's first time to do this and he's looking forward to going back again next summer. He also spent two weeks at our church camp at Silver Lake and a week at Boy Scout camp so he had a wonderful summer vacation. He is now in his first year in high school. I can't believe how fast he has grown. He is a fine young man and I enjoy him so much. He comes to my house every Wednesday after scool and we have a good time together. He is now taking guitar lessons which he loves and is still playing the violin in the school orchestra.

I am no longer working at the adult day care center in town. Staff cuts had to be made because of the town budget so for now I am at home except for my volunteer work at the town library and teaching the 7th and 8th graders in Sunday School. I am also trying to clean out some of my old papers and files. I've accumulated so much!

I hope that you are doing well and that your new building is moving along as planned. We all think of you often and consider our friendship one of God's blessings. Please give my best regards to your congregation.

Peace and joy,
Edie
